What Does God Do?: notes to myself (part 2)

What does God do?:
notes to myself

He brings times of drought.
Haggai 1:9-11
9 "You look for much, but behold, it comes to little; when you bring it home, I blow it away. Why?" declares the LORD of hosts, "Because of My house which lies desolate, while each of you runs to his own house. 10 "Therefore, because of you the sky has withheld its dew and the earth has withheld its produce. 11 "I called for a drought on the land, on the mountains, on the grain, on the new wine, on the oil, on what the ground produces, on men, on cattle, and on all the labor of your hands."
"COME BACK TO ME." He brings blasting wind, mildew, and hail.
Haggai 2:17

Walking with God:
notes to myself.

Enoch did it.
Genesis 5:22-24 22 Then Enoch walked with God three hundred years after he became the father of Methuselah, and he had other sons and daughters. 23 So all the days of Enoch were three hundred and sixty-five years. 24 Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him. BLAMELESS Noah did it.
Genesis 6:9
9 These are the records of the generations of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, blameless in his time; Noah walked with God.

Genesis 17:11

LOVE THE LORD God told the Israelites to do it to.
Deuteronomy 30:16
16 in that I command you today to love the LORD your God, to walk in His ways and to keep His commandments and His statutes and His judgments, that you may live and multiply, and that the LORD your God may bless you in the land where you are entering to possess it.
