What Does God Do?: notes to myself (part 2)

What does God do?:
notes to myself

He brings times of drought.
Haggai 1:9-11
9 "You look for much, but behold, it comes to little; when you bring it home, I blow it away. Why?" declares the LORD of hosts, "Because of My house which lies desolate, while each of you runs to his own house. 10 "Therefore, because of you the sky has withheld its dew and the earth has withheld its produce. 11 "I called for a drought on the land, on the mountains, on the grain, on the new wine, on the oil, on what the ground produces, on men, on cattle, and on all the labor of your hands."

"COME BACK TO ME."
He brings blasting wind, mildew, and hail.
Haggai 2:17
17 'I smote you and every work of your hands with blasting wind, mildew and hail; yet you did not come back to Me,' declares the LORD.

SEEK GOD, LEARN RIGHTEOUSNESS

He brings judgment.
Isaiah 26:9
9 At night my soul longs for You, Indeed, my spirit within me seeks You diligently; For when the earth experiences Your judgments The inhabitants of the world learn righteousness.

"THERE IS NO GOD BESIDES ME."
He brings death, life, wounds, and healing.
Deuteronomy 32:39
39 'See now that I, I am He, And there is no god besides Me; It is I who put to death and give life. I have wounded and it is I who heal, And there is no one who can deliver from My hand.

KNOW GOD

He forms light, creates darkness, causes well-being, and creates calamity.
Isaiah 45:6-7
6 That men may know from the rising to the setting of the sun That there is no one besides Me. I am the LORD, and there is no other, 7 The One forming light and creating darkness, Causing well-being and creating calamity; I am the LORD who does all these.

GOD DOES ALL THINGS.
